Project Brief
We have had the honour of working with BCcampus on many exciting projects over the years. Come on a little journey with me as I share some of this work.
First Peoples Principles of Learning — FLO Microcourse (2025)
A microcourse that highlights key elements found across diverse Indigenous teaching and learning approaches. The next delivery begins December 1, 2025. This is an important and meaningful topic, and we’re grateful to support it.
Early Childhood Education Recommendations Report & Literature Review (2025)
For this project, we collaborated on the decolonization and Indigenization of an Early Childhood Education report and literature review, ensuring the content honoured Indigenous worldviews and practices.
Digital Well-Being Through an Indigenous Lens — FLO Microcourse (2024)
This microcourse supports participants in managing the impact of technology on spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental well-being—for both themselves and their students. It explores healthy boundaries, intentional use of digital tools, and ways to reduce digital harm. Participants reflect on their own digital well-being and consider how these practices contribute to the broader journey of reconciliation.
Although this delivery has concluded, we are always open to offering it again for communities or institutions interested in this topic.
Weaving Indigenous Ways of Knowing into Digital Literacy — Webinar (2024)
This one-hour webinar introduces newly released, openly licensed resources in the Digital Literacy collection that integrate Indigenous ways of knowing into technology-supported teaching and learning.
Through conversations with authors Robyn and Connie, participants receive an overview of the materials and practical ideas for applying them to support reconciliation in educational environments. These resources highlight Indigenous-specific considerations within each of the eight competencies in the B.C. Post-Secondary Digital Literacy Framework.
Indigenous Digital Literacies (2023)
This course explores eight Indigenous digital literacy competencies and emphasizes decolonizing and Indigenizing online post-secondary spaces. It provides instructor-focused professional development that supports educators working with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit learners. The course is available both online and as a downloadable book.

Spotlight: Indigenous Digital Literacies — Educator Professional Development
Created by Robyn Grebliunas and Connie Strayer (she/her), this curated collection of openly licensed learning materials supports the Post-Secondary Digital Learning Strategy, strengthens the integration of Indigenous perspectives within the Digital Literacy Framework, and highlights competencies relevant to working with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit learners.
This work was featured in Indigenous SME Business Magazine alongside the First Nations Technology Council’s digital skills training program.
I am deeply grateful to my co-collaborator, Connie Strayer. Connie and I have had the privilege of walking through many projects like this together, and working alongside her continues to be one of the best parts of our day.
